Doubt is a poison

That slowly creeps into your thoughts

Uncertainty and disbelief spread throughout

Slyly invading your heart and mind

Relationships severed,

Bonds broken and torn apart

Separated are friends,

Disintegrated are lovers,

Divided are families

Unwary and paranoid,

Unsure of all,

What they knew,

Seems a lie

It is a needle that pricks and pries,

A thorn digging deep,

Claws scratching endless gashes,

A knife opening bloody wounds,

A rapier that kills
